Health Care End-Game: Our Last Chance to Stop the Government Take-Over of Medicine!
President Obama has postponed his trip to Asia and Speaker Pelosi has warned her Members to prepare to work the weekend and that a vote may come this week. It is truly the end-game in this battle over the future of our country’s health care system, and it’s critical that we keep fighting to the finish. Our radio message and carefully targeted phone calls had demonstrable effect during the Massachusetts special election. Now, we need your help to do radio and phones in critical districts. Undecided Members are under tremendous political pressure: they are being called by the President and have their arms twisted by their Leadership. We need them to know that there is pressure on the other side too: their constituents, who overwhelming reject this monstrous legislation! We’ve come so far; it would be malpractice not to take this all the way to victory and ensure genuine, constructive reforms that are patient and doctor centered, not command-and-control dictates. Please contribute as generously as you can; this is a large and expensive undertaking, but so important, and with YOUR help WE CAN DO THIS!

Below is a select list of House Representatives — chosen because we believe it will MATTER to them if they hear from you — who voted "Yes" on the health care bill in November and need to hear loud and clear from all of us that they need to change their votes.
Below that is a list of those whom Nancy Pelosi allowed to vote "No" last time but who are being pressured to change their vote this time. They need to be contacted, thanked, and told to remain firm in their vote.
The single most effective thing you can do is send a real, old fashioned letter – those are taken vastly more seriously by congressional staff than anything else.
The second best action you can take is to call the representatives, particularly if you are one of their constituents. (Sadly, they largely delete emails they get.) So write a letter, make calls, and share this information with all your friends, because even if you don’t have a friend who lives in these targeted states, your friends might!! In fact, get a group together and make a party of it!
